Let's Celebrate National Shrimp Day: Friday May 10th
This National Shrimp Day, spice up your celebrations with Grilled Shrimp & Amaral’s Linguica Skewers! Succulent shrimp, savory Linguica sausage, and a tangy adobo dipping sauce come together for a flavor-packed meal on the grill. Get outside this weekend to fire up the grill and try out this delicious kebab combo.
Ingredients
Kebabs:
1 lb. 16/20 shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 tbs. olive oil
1 tbs. adobo seasoning
6-8 bamboo skewers
Parsley to garnish
Sauce:
1/3 cup mayonnaise
1 tbs. lemon juice
1 tbs. adobo seasoning
Directions:
1. Soak skewers for at least 30 minutes in water to prevent burning on the grill.
2. Pat shrimp dry, add olive oil and 1 tbs. adobo seasoning.
3. Slice Amaral’s Linguica the same thickness as shrimp.
4. Tuck sausage slices between curve of the shrimp, and skewer.
5. Combine mayonnaise, 1 tbs. adobo seasoning and lemon juice in a bowl, mix to combine.
6. Preheat grill over high heat for 10 minutes then turn down to medium high.
7. Spray prepared skewers with nonstick spray on both sides.
8. Grill for 1-2 minutes per side or until shrimp are opaque and cooked through.
9. Serve skewers with dipping sauce and garnish with parsley.
